After the recent launch of the gaming phone Asus ROG Phone 5, Asus is in preparation for the launch of three more smartphones from the popular series Zenfone this year.
From all three phones, the one, most expected will probably be Asus Zenfone Mini (with a codename Sake), which is supposed to get a 5.9-inch OLED FullHD+ screen with 120 Hz refresh rate.
Asus Zenfone 8: Screen
The Zenfone 8 (codename Picasso) will feature a 6.69-inch OLED FullHD+ screen with the same 120 Hz refresh rate. It is not yet known, whether both Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Pro (codename VODKA) will get the screen of the same size, although the display’s technology should be the same for all.
Asus Zenfone 8: Chipset and connectivity
All three models will be powered by the most recent Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset which supports 5G natively out of the box. It also features NFC, location satellite systems such as Beidou, Galileo, GLONASS or WiFi 6.

The Zenfone 8 and the Pro variants will feature the same Sony IMX686 64MP sensor as the Mini version, accompanied by 12MP (IMX363), 24MP OmniVision (for low light conditions) and an 8MP OmniVision telephoto module.
