- Over a 12-inch OLED display is expected
- Tablet will be equipped with a PadOS system based on Harmony OS
- The performance will be provided by the Kirin 9000 processor
Information about the allegedly planned Huawei MatePad 2 Pro 5G tablet has appeared on the weibo.com website. The MatePad range is reserved for high-end tablets and should continue to do so in the future. Rumours mention, for example, the use of the Kirin 9000 processor, which we can also find in the Mate 40 Pro smartphone. There is no official information yet, but it is being said by few sources that a 12.9-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate might be deployed.
The operating system has also gone through a change, as it will no longer feature Android, but PadOS, which is based on the Huawei’s custom Harmony OS.

According to the 3C certification website, the tablet will be charged with a 40W power charger with the support of 27W wireless charging. As the name suggests, the MatePad 2 Pro 5G will also support 5G network reception.
For now, there are no more reports about the details of the Huawei’s upcoming tablet.
