Apple is about to launch a new iMac series with Apple Silicon processors this year as Bloomberg – a reliable source reported. There haven’t been many information or leaks about the upcoming products which are probably still in development, although now, a new rumour claims that we might be able to see the iMac colours in 5 different variants.

This has been published by leaker Jon Prosser, who claims the redesigned devices will become in the same colours as the fourth-gen iPad Air we saw last year. This may also be inspired by iMac from 1998 which also come in different colours.

If the rumour turns out to be true, we might see the iMac in space grey, silver, rose gold, green, and sky blue colour variants. Although some of the new colour renders leaked, the final design is not yet very clear.

It is because the sources such as Bloomberg and respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo have reported that Apple’s plans to majorly redesign the iMac after many years of sticking with the same style. It has been said by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman that the new iMac will be inspired by the Pro display XDR.

“The iMac redesign will be one of the biggest visual updates to any Apple product this year,” The new design will include removing the “chin area” from the bottom, as well as having a flat back rather than sticking to the current curved design. Apple is reportedly planning two versions to replace the existing 21.5- and 27-inch models “later this year.”

There are no official information or other leaks from a reputable source for now, although it is clear that new colour variants would allow Apple to reach to even more potential customers.
