The Xiaomi Mi 11 was announced 2 days ago and first major reviewers have already gotten their first test pieces. Among them is also a well-known reviewer / YouTuber JerryRigEverything who subjected the phone to a proper durability test.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 features Gorilla Glass Victus and the reviewer proves the £700 smartphone is as much resistant to scratches (reaches level 6-7 pressure out of 10) as much more expensive flagships of other major brands.

The video shows that both the frame and buttons are made of metal, which will also serve to better overall durability and it is a nice touch for a flagship with such a good price.
The back panel protected with Gorilla Glass 5 will also get scratched at the same level, although due to shiny rainbowy glass surface the scratches don’t look that disturbing. The rear phones glass surface is also nicely resistant to fingerprint smudges.
During the bending test, the phone creaked, however, any of its parts did not crack or were damaged in any other way and the Mi 11 always returned to its initial flat shape.
The video is a nice proof that Xiaomi really focused on the build quality resulting in very durable, professional phone.
