South Korean LG launched new True Wireless Earphones today, bearing the LG HBS-FN7 name. They will also offer active noise cancellation with their design and appearance obviously pointing against the Apple AirPods Pro.
However, it also boasts a case with integrated UV cleaning of the inserted Earphones – the case not only charges the Earphones but also takes care of hygiene. According to LG, the UV light inside the case eliminates 99.9% of E. coli and S. aureus bacteria. LG boasts that these are currently the most advanced True Wireless Earphones.

Sound
In terms of sound, similar to the previous LG Tone Free FN6 model and some more expensive LG soundbars, it worked with the hi-fi company Meridian Audio, which fine-tuned the resulting sound. However, the sound can be personalized using an equalizer in a mobile application. There are basically four preset sound profiles – Natural, Absorbing, Bass Enhanced and Treble Enhanced.

Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is provided by three microphones in each headphone, and LG promises maximum efficiency using this feature.
Battery
The battery life with active ANC is 5 hours, with switched off ANC you get to 7 hours. The case then adds two more charges, for a total of 21 hours without ANC and 15 hours with ANC; in case of complete discharge, there is a fast 5-minute charge available which gives you 1 hour of listening. Another pleasant feature is LED lighting on the top of the case which will make it easy to monitor charging level and UVnano status.

The connection is taken care of by Bluetooth 5.1, using AAC and SBC codecs. It comes to a surprise that, according to the available information, the possibility of connecting two devices at the same time might be missing in these earphones.
